The green thumb behind the operation
Often I’m asked how I got into farming. I’d say the simplest answer is by following my gut. A small herb garden opened a flavor gateway in the kitchen (my other office) and got me wondering what else I could grow. The powers of the universe worked in their strange way and I found myself living in a house with a yard, a sympathetic landlord, and a tomato plant. I took my first bite of a home grown tomato straight from the vine and haven’t stopped planting since.
What do we do?
We are an urban farm located in Tallahassee, FL. Offering fresh produce and garden fresh vegetables to our local community.
How do we do it?
We’re urban, so we like to stick to mostly leafy greens and items that we’re able to continually harvest throughout the season. Focusing on seasonal vegetables we work to create a balanced farm ecosystem without the use of pesticides.
